The list of the best scientists in terms of the citation metrics of their publications has been announced. Among 190,000 of the most influential scientists, seven of them were from the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences.

The exhibition consists of a collection of 26 display-boards presenting the history of diplomatic relations between Poland and Peru, as well as the profiles of Polish diplomats working in Peru, and the profiles of outstanding Poles who worked there.

A recent census of the bat population in the Międzyrzecze undergrounds has just concluded and according to the preliminary data, their numbers have dropped once again. In the past three years their population has now decreased by approximately 10 thousand.

Dr. Peter Stewart, a graduate of Veterinary Medicine at the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, spent most of his career treating animals at Dudley Zoo. Now he’s back at UPWr to teach a course on exotic animals.

The Rector, professor Roman Kołacz, has met representatives of the “For Africa” Cluster – Doctor Mamadou Moussa Bahem and Janusz Pińkowski, the president of Transvet – a biotechnological company from Kalisz in order to discuss the possibility of the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław joining the organization.
