Scholarship for the disabled

Scholarship for the disabled may be obtained by students with the following issued by the Polish authority: disability degree certificate, disability certificate, medical certificate from the Social Insurance Institution, certificate on inclusion into one of the groups of invalids, certificate on permanent or long-term inability to work in an agricultural farm as specified in the Act of 27 August 1997 on professional and social rehabilitation and employment of the disabled.

Scholarship for the disabled is granted by the dean or vice-dean and its level is determined by the degree of disability.

In case of studying on more than one major of studies, the scholarship for the disabled may be obtained solely under one, specified major.

The application for the scholarship should be filled out on USOSweb (guidelines) and after filling it out, the hardcopy version (in Polish) with the required documents must be submitted in the dean’s office in person, via electronic post (with confirmation of receipt) or by means of the ePUAP platform (guidelines on how to register an application form may be found at the bottom of the page).

Application forms for obtaining’s scholarships may be registered and submitted from 1 October 2024.

Registering an electronic form at USOS is a technical action and does not constitute application form submission.

In accordance with § 4 sec. 1 of the By-laws of benefits, the student applying for the scholarship for the disabled is obliged to submit a signed application form with the required documents on or before the 20th day of the commenced month.

In accordance with § 4 sec. 9 of the above By-laws, the student applying for the scholarship for the disabled is entitled to the benefit starting from the month in which they submitted an application form with the required documents.

In case when disability occurs during studies or after obtaining the professional title, the scholarship for the disabled shall be granted for an additional period of 12 semesters.
