Information about scholarship
Professor Stanislaw Tolpa Scholarship (student and scientific) has been endowed to citizens from countries of the former USSR by the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences since the 2002/2003 academic year.
- Scientific scholarship – it is granted to young researchers up to 35 years old (Polish descent is not required). It is granted for undertaking short-term traineeships (from 1 – 3 months) at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław.
Professor Stanislaw Tolpa Scholarship is allocated for covering costs of accommodation and meals during the studies/traineeship. Costs of education/conducted research are free of charge. Scholarship holder has to cover costs of travel to Wrocław and back home and costs of obligatory health insurance and accident insurance.
The scholarship is granted by the rector to candidates qualified by the Commission for foreign and regional cooperation and Professor Stanislaw Tolpa scholarship on the basis of documentation sent to the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław.
The number of places and the level of the scholarship for the given academic year is determined by the rector as an order. All the interested parties may apply for the scholarship every year, for the next academic year, using proper application forms, in time limits given in the announcement about application for the scholarship.
Application for the professor Stanislaw Tolpa scholarship in the academic year 2023/2024
The University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław is announcing the beginning of application for the professor Stanislaw Tolpa scholarship for the academic year 2023/2024. The scholarship is for candidates who are citizens and who live in the countries of the former USSR.
Scientific scholarship
for young researchers for undertaking short-term traineeships (from 1 – 3 months) at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław.
Limit of admission – 24 traineeship months
Level of scholarship – 2000 zł / per every traineeship month
Scholarship period – from 1–3 months
Date of scholarship use – from 1.10.2023 – 30.06.2024
Requirements:
- age up to 35
- employment or doctoral studies at the scientific institute or university, from a country of the former USSR
- good command of Polish or another language enabling a candidate to communicate with a research tutor
- traineeship program (when applying for a scholarship longer than 1 month, it has to be approved by the head of a proper department/institute at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław)
Deadline for submitting application forms with required attachments (approved by a parent institute, directly to the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław) – to 30 June 2023.
Deadline for examining application forms – to 10 July 2023
Deadline for informing a candidate about recruitment process results – to 15 July 2023.
