Biotechnology for life and industry – BioTech@Life

We would like to invite a PhD student/researcher from Ukraine to join our team Biotech@Life - Biotechnology for life and industry. Our group is very diverse and conducts research from development of industrial processes of organic acids and polyhydroxyalcohols biosynthesis, through studies on bacteriophages and their application in medicine and veterinary sciences, to genetic engineering of plants  and microorganisms to improve their functional properties and/or introduce new biochemical pathways for bioactive compounds production. Furthermore, we can also offer studies on chemical and enzymatic modifications of the structure of natural phospholipids. And last but not least, we also deal with bioremediation of contaminated soil and water, for which we obtained financing within the programme Horizon Europe.
