Staff mobility for teaching (STA)

General rules

The participant must have a signed Employment Contract with the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences (UPWr).

The participant can choose a receiving institution from a list of partner institutions which signed the Inter-Institutional Agreement for STA mobility with our university within the Erasmus+ Programme and it is valid in the academic year in which the mobility takes place. 

Eligible duration of STA mobility is from two (2) days to two (2) months excluding travel time. However, maximum individual support from the Erasmus+ budget at our university cannot exceed five (5) days, excluding travel time.

A teaching activity has to comprise a minimum of 8 hours of teaching per week (or any shorter period of stay).

Recruitment

The deadline for recruitment of the academic staff for STA mobility at our university is October 30th 2020. The academic staff member interested in participating in STA mobility must submit the Application Form to the International Relations Office (Erasmus+ Office).

The decision of acceptance/denial is made by Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations taking into account the Applicant’s:

  • Foreign language competences;
  • Academic/Professional experience;
  • Mobility Agreement for Teaching.

Priority will be given to the academics who apply for the Erasmus+ Mobility Grant for the first time and those with a short professional experience.

Administrative procedures - step by step

The following documents must be filed at the International Relations Office (Erasmus+ Office) – the deadline is October 30th, 2020:

    • Application for STA Mobility Grant,
    • Staff Mobility for Teaching/Training Mobility Agreement – this document must be completed and signed by the participant and approved (duly signed and stamped) by the responsible person at the receiving institution.

The participant accepted for STA mobility is also obliged to:

- complete the Delegation Form in the EOD system and submit a Request for Educational Mobility Leave to the International Relations Office (Erasmus+ Office) minimum two (2) weeks before the mobility.

- Sign the Individual Grant Agreement in the International Relations Office minimum two (2) weeks before the mobility. It is the financial agreement between the participant and the sending institution (UPWr) containing the rights and obligations of the participant. No funds shall be transferred to the participant’s bank account if the Individual Grant Agreement is missing in the participant’s files.

  1. The participant is obliged to submit a Certificate of Attendance confirming the teaching period and the number of teaching hours per week at the International Relations Office within the period indicated in the Individual Grant Agreement  signed before the mobility. The Certificate of Attendance must be completed on the official paper of the receiving institution, duly signed and stamped by a responsible person. It must contain the following data:
    • First name and surname of the participant;
    • Duration (start and end dates) of the STA assignment at the receiving institution;
    • The number of teaching hours carried out at the receiving institution.
  2. The participant is also obliged to submit a Report from the STA mobility and the supporting documents to the International Relations Office (Erasmus+ Office) not later than one (1) week after the mobility.
  3. The participant must complete the online EU Report not later than 30 days after the mobility.
