Our vision

The Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences in 2030 is to be a university:

• which fits the model of a modern university of the third generation, integrated into the economic system of the region and holding the position of a leader in innovation and knowledge transfer;

• a research university, characterised by scientific excellence in all the represented disciplines;

• engaged in solving the global challenges of humanity, conducting research in close cooperation with the economic environment and integrating, through the transfer of knowledge, the scientific and business environment;

• which plays a key role in the implementation of the Development Strategy for Lower Silesia in terms of, among others, environmental protection, water management, rural development, agribusiness, food economy and health prevention including the production of health-promoting foods;

• attractive for students and PhD students, looking for talents and passionately developing creativity and knowledge, educating highly qualified specialists sought on the market;

• with modern research, teaching and social facilities for students;

• providing conditions for national and international mobility for students and researchers, and for scientific teams to carry out interdisciplinary research, as well as assistance in applying successfully for funding;

• with an attractive education offer to Polish and foreign students and offering lifelong learning;

• taking action to integrate the Wrocław scientific community by carrying out joint scientific research and educational projects;

• with an internal organisation to facilitate the development of the entire university, continuously improving all areas of activity for the benefit of students, PhD students, academic, teaching and administrative staff and the business community
