The purpose of this action is to enable exchange of students. The Programme allows the participants to take part in the summer school (lasting 7 days, including 2 days for travel) aimed at increasing their competences and qualifications.
30 students from Ukrainian universities can participate in the Summer Schools.

Flat rates for travel and subsistence costs effective in the Programme.
The total amount of the scholarship will be divided into two tranches. First one, 70% of the scholarship, will be paid before arrival on the Participant’s bank account. The second tranche, which is 30%, will be paid when the mobility ends and the Participant provides the UPWr International Relations Office with the required documentation.
Travel expenses, health insurance, third-party insurance, accident insurance, visa fees and costs of establishing residency.

Summer School: SUSTAINABLE STATE OF NATURE

Description: Classes are dedicated to students of faculties related to the field of natural sciences, including environmental protection, environmental engineering, water management, spatial management, and landscape architecture. Everyone who wants to expand their competences in the field of engineering and technical sciences is welcome. The theme of the Summer School includes issues related to, water management, retention, the use of new technologies in assessing the state of the environment, protection of environmentally valuable areas, and other topics. Study visits to facilities devoted to the sustainable use of environmental resources, protection of natural resources and environmental engineering are included in the agenda. Workshops on innovative methods of environmental quality assessment, remote sensing, water management and management will be held. Participation in the Summer School will allow you to broaden your knowledge, establish new contacts, develop soft skills as well as learn about the valuable natural and tourist assets of the Sudetes. Classes will be conducted in English. Completion of the Summer School will be confirmed by a certificate.

The Karkonosze National Park and the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve (peatlands) - an example of a form of protection of valuable natural areas. Wjazd wyciągiem na Wysoki Kopa - passage to peat bogs (or Śnieżka) - 6 km route to Karpacz through Mały Staw and Samotnia Shelter and the historic church of Wang.
