Julia Gawron and Radosław Pszonicki participated in the Master Thesis Training workshops organized as part of the Baltic University Programme at Uppsala University. In the final of the 2nd National Veterinary Emergency Medicine Competition for Dogs and Cats, organized by the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, twelve teams qualified, representing various veterinary medicine departments. Among the participants were three teams from UPWr, two of which secured the top spots on the podium, finishing first and second.

Students of a new degree programme at UPWr – bioeconomy – prepared end-of-semester projects that address the problems described in the Sustainable Development Goals. These are problems that surround us everyday - pollution, smog, concrete jungles or fast fashion.

UPWr students of Landscape Architecture have designed plans for the development of the Biskupin Campus aligning with the principles of sustainable development. – The students' ideas are interesting and full of innovative and 'green' design solutions. So, there should be an impulse to take action so that the campus becomes a model, multifunctional public space in Wrocław in the future – says Dr. Anna Bocheńska-Skałecka.
