'Bee-therapy garden. Apitherapy and relaxation on the Biskupin campus' and 'Work & chillout zone' are the winning projects of the second edition of the UPWr Participatory Budget. The former is an employee initiative, the latter a student initiative. A total of 1285 people took part in the vote. This is 17% more than in the first edition of this initiative.

Scientists from the UPWr Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformatics carried out precise measurements of the Tatra Mountain peaks. As a result, many atlases and textbooks will have to be revised. Świnica turned out to be one meter higher, the Skrajny Granat on Orla Perć by three meters, and the border post in Rysy stands at 2500 m above sea level.

The mechanisms controlling our landscape preferences are still not fully understood.
