This year, for the first time ever, the scholarship program "Implementation Master’s at UPWr" was launched. Students were granted scholarships for 3D printed prosthetics, and innovative bee farms, among others.

The Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences is a member of the WRO4diglTal consortium, which creates the EDIH – European Digital Innovation Hub. The program developed by the European Commission to coordinate and support the digital transformation of economies aims to increase the level of digitalization in the EU, thereby increasing the competitive advantage of companies and improving the functioning of public administration.

As many as 11 research projects by scientists from the UPWr have received funding from the National Science Centre in the PRELUDIUM 20 competition, and seven in OPUS 21. During the kick-off meeting, representatives of nine partnering universities of the EU GREEN consortium launched a project to build and develop joint activities within the alliance. Universities from Ukraine were invited to cooperate – on the initiative of UPWr, representatives of ten institutions, including those from Kiev and Lviv, came to Cáceres.

Veterinary medicine is a wide field – there are over a million species of animals that exist today, and there are many environments in which they live and diseases they suffer from. The number of student science clubs at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine reflects the breadth of this field, because at a faculty with only one field of study, there are eight science clubs.

The Doctoral School of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences is closely connected with Leading Research Groups, which leaders and members are supervisors of doctoral theses written at the school, and together with a doctoral students’ representative form the Doctoral School Council. Two years after its formation, the Doctoral School and its doctoral students are undergoing evaluation.
