Please read carefully the following guidelines and follow them step by step after your arrival:

Medical Insurance
It is necessary for all the Erasmus students to have a valid Health Insurance Card issued in their home country. Non-EU students have to purchase in their home country the Health Insurance (valid for EU countries for the entire period of study in Poland). The insurance must cover medical assistance and hospitalisation, including repatriation that will cover the expenses incurred abroad. The students should have the Insurance Policy accessible at any time during the entire exchange period.
Please make sure you have got your proof of insurance (EHIC or any other kind).
In case of any doubts please contact Jowita Pyszczek (jowita.pyszczek@upwr.edu.pl)
Stay safe!
Non-EU students are required to have a valid visa issued by the Embassy/Consulate of the Republic of Poland. The requirements vary depending on the country, so each applicant has to get relevant information from the website of the Polish Embassy. The invitations (if required) will be sent to the student nominated by the home institution by the Institutional Erasmus Coordinator of our University after approval of the Application Form and Learning Agreement.
Zloty (PLN) is the Polish currency unit (~0.25 EUR), but the exchange rates are changing. It is advisable to check them on the Internet before arrival.
It is good to have Polish money on arrival.
Please remember that you should submit an application if you intend to stay on the territory of the Republic of Poland for more than 3 months.
