Network of International Relations Officers in Life Science Universities in Europe (IROICA)

Established in 1997, IROICA is a European network of international relations officers at Higher Education Institutions with an Erasmus Charter. IROICA is a standing committee within the ICA organisation, the Association of European Life Sciences Universities.

The main objective of IROICA is to support and strengthen the activities of the staff of the international relation offices in the member institutions of the network by, things such as:

• supporting the development of international relations among the network's member universities,
• promoting and supporting international activities aimed at students and academic and administrative staff of partnering universities,
• informing about important international events in the field of higher education,
• organising meetings and training courses for staff of international relation offices, 
• promoting the results of projects carried out by member universities,
• promoting the internal quality assurance system of the internationalisation strategy.

IROICA network activities are carried out in the spirit of openness, human rights and democracy.
