Dr Katarzyna Kornicka-Garbowska conducts research in the field of regenerative medicine. Having achieved her first scientific successes as a student, today she works at the Department of Experimental Biology at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław, where she is a member of a Lead Research Team.

In the latest edition of the Pearls of Science program, funded by the Ministry of Education and Science, two PhD candidates from the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences have received financial support for their innovative research. Katarzyna Leicht and Aleksandra Hendrysiak have distinguished themselves with projects that have significant potential impact on the development of both science and the food industry.
