SEASONED Summer School of Advanced Sensory Methods

At the end of June, the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) in Odense hosted the second edition of the Summer School of Advanced Sensory Methods, organized as part of the SEASONED project. The event brought together experts, professionals, and students from various parts of the world, creating a unique platform for learning and exchanging experiences in advanced sensory analysis techniques. Among them were participants from UPWr.

Four OPUS 26 Grants Awarded to UPWr

In the current funding cycle, four projects associated with UPWr have been recognized for their scientific value and potential impact on industry and environmental protection. These projects, led by Dr. Adam Dobrowolski, Prof. Zbigniew Lazar, Dr. Tomasz Janek, and Prof. Joanna Szyda, have collectively received approximately 6 million PLN in funding.

SONATA 19 for UPWr Scientists

MINIATURA 8: digital twin for sustainable agriculture

Acoustic booths in the UPWr Library

Książ Castle Park under scientific scrutiny

Unknown documents, natural discoveries, plans, and most importantly, model cooperation. Researchers from UPWr and the Technical University of Dresden, together with stakeholders and external experts, have developed an integrated concept for protecting and managing the landscape of the Pełcznica Valley under Książ Castle in Wałbrzych. The project, which lasted over four years, was financed by the German Federal Environmental Foundation.
