- Advances in drying R&D
- Drying solutions and developing functional foods and bioactive powders
- Innovative drying methods as a promising tool for waste recovery and management
- Modern industrial drying
- Industrial workshop and round table
The NBDC 2022 is a drying and dewatering conference organized by Nordic and Baltic countries. It has evolved from the NDCs that were annually held from 2001 to 2013 in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Iceland.
It was expanded to include Baltic countries. Today's NBDC has been successfully held in Poland, Germany and Russia. The main purpose of the NBDC 2022 is to provide a forum to exchange the technical and scientific knowledge on drying and dewatering between the industry, academia, research centers and consulting agencies. Another aim is to promote the best drying and dewatering experimental and industrial practices in the Nordic and Baltic nations and advertise them internationally. The topics covered at the conference will focus on improving products, processes and technologies for a more sustainable society which continues to grow economically and stays industrially competitive. It will focus on solving challenges, quality of the production process, energy usage, environmental or climate change and on the impact of technology and ecology
The NBDC 2022 will be locally organized by Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences.
