Złote Godło (Gold Award) QI 2011

Winners, patrons and representatives of companies and institutions that contributed to the event were in attendance. The event was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Regional Development, the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and the Polish Forum ISO 9000. The Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences was among the winners, and received the Gold Emblem QI SERVICES – for services of the highest quality; it is the only public university to be awarded with certificate of QI.

In the competition, awards are given to institutions, governments, manufacturers and service providers, who run a clear policy of quality and care maintaining the highest quality of its products and services. More than three thousand institutions, universities, companies and local governments registered and participated in this year’s contest.

This is the second award for the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences in the competition Highest Quality International. In the first competition, held in 2007, the University obtained a distinction in the category QI Order – management quality, corresponding to the exclusive use of QI brown mark.

The high quality of management was confirmed by ISO 9001:2000 certificate awarded in 2007 (it included all departments and units). Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences was the only public university to be awarded this international mark of quality.

In July 2011, following an audit carried out by the independent certification body DEKRA Certification, the highest international standards of management and maintenance of certification ISO 9001:2009 for Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences was confirmed.
