Top quality University

The Quality International competition rewards institutions, self-government bodies, producers, and service providers that implement a clear quality policy by emphasizing a high standard of quality in their products and services. Over 200 different institutions, schools, companies and self-government bodies took part in this year's edition of the competition.

There were three categories of winners: QI Product – top quality product, QI Services – top quality services and QI Order – top quality management.

Editors of “Business Forum” organized the competition and it was implemented under the patronage of the Ministry of Regional Development, Polish Forum ISO 9000 Club and the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.

The University of Environmental and Life Sciences received its third award in the Quality International competition. In the first edition, organized in 2007, the university received a distinction in the QI ORDER category – top quality management. The next distinction was awarded in 2011 – the GOLDEN BADGE in the QI SERVICES category.

The ISO 9001:2000 certificate received in 2007, which comprised each of the faculties and departments, also confirmed the top quality of management at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences. At that time, the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences was the only public university holding this international sign of quality.

At the beginning of July 2012 Dekra Certification, an independent certification provider, conducted an audit and confirmed the top quality international standards of management maintaining the PN-EN ISO 9001:2009 certificate for the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław.
