The Center of Experimental Diagnostics and Innovative Biomedical Technology

Diseases affecting the cardiovascular system are one of the great concerns of modern medicine. The problem of course also applies to animals – the number of circulatory system diseases among animals has increased rapidly over the years. Cardiology tests are conducted in the Department of Internal Medicine as well as the Clinic of Diseases of Horses, Dogs and Cats of Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences. The tests are at the interface between preclinical veterinary medicine and human medicine. Progress in these disciplines is based on the development of new diagnostic techniques and treatments as well as the introduction of new technologies. After the initial theoretical and in-vitro experimental stages, there is then time to observe the living organisms which is required to work on the animals.

The University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław intends to open the Center with an objective to meet the highest quality standards, obtain relevant certificates to ensure the credibility of the research, and to achieve a high position in the world of science and farming practice. The center will provide services in the field of experimental testing and innovative biological and medical technology.
