In solidarity with Charles University in Prague

Dear Rector Králíčková,

Like the rest of the world, we followed yesterday's tragic events in Prague with genuine disbelief and horror. We are deeply moved by the news of the injured and the victims.

It's difficult to imagine the pain that their families, friends, and colleagues are currently enduring – the entire community of Charles University in Prague woke up with a heavy heart today.

However, we know that the strength of the academic community is immense and we would like to join the words of support flowing to you from the international community and express hope that you will find some comfort in them.
