On June the 6th 2009 the University of Environmental and Life Sciences hosted the 6th EVSSAR Annual Symposium. This was in fact the 12th meeting in a row involving the EVSSAR since it's foundation.

On June the 6th 2009 the University of Environmental and Life Sciences hosted the 6th EVSSAR Annual Symposium. This was in fact the 12th meeting in a row involving the EVSSAR since it's foundation.

The Local Organizing Committee headed by the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Prof.dr hab. Jan Twardon – the Head of the Departement and Clinic of Reproduction, prof. dr hab. Andrzej Dubiel and EVSSAR Board member, Wojciech Nizanski managed to gain the interest of almost 200 attendants from all over Poland but also from different European countries and extra-European countries such as Brazil and Japan.

The scientific program was divided into two parallel sessions: small animal reproduction in every-day practice and Research in small animal reproduction. A poster room with 21 posters and a commercial exhibition were available during breaks and lunch.

The day before, the Board met for his regular meeting.

Topics discussed were

  • Election or Relection of the President, the Treasurer and Secretary.
  • Next EVSSAR-ESAVS course in Nantes (2009), in 2010 and 2011
  • Guidelines for agreement with LOC of Symposia and Congresses
  • EVSSAR 7th Biennial Congress in 2010, Proposal and Draft Program
  • The Cambridge Course in Animal Reproduction.
  • Report of the AI-subcommittee
