Cooperation with Transplantologists from Trzebnica

The aim of the agreement is to carry out scientific research and R&D studies.

On Tuesday, 28th January 2014, there was a meeting between the University and the Foundation representatives which inaugurated the beginning of the project. The Agreement was signed by Professor Jerzy Jabłecki - the president, and Doctor Adam Chełmoński – the vice-president of the Foundation, and on behalf of the University Professor Alina Wieliczko – Vice-Rector for International Relations and Regional Cooperation, and Professor Krzysztof Kubiak – Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

Thanks to the signed agreement students of the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław will be able to prepare their dissertations, undergo training and do their internships in the Transplantology Center in Trzebnica. The agreement also provides a chance for students to take part in classes run by outstanding and experienced practitioners from the Foundation. The University promised to create opportunities for the Foundation workers to take part in training courses and specialized study programmes, as well as postgraduate studies and other forms of training provided by the school.

The University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław has a fully operational Center of Experimental Diagnostics and Innovative Biomedical Technologies. The center meets the highest quality standards and has an appropriate base for experimental animals as well as all the required equipment - this center, together with other organizational units of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, will constitute the basis of cooperation.
