Balanced technologies in environmental protection
From 15 to 17 December the University of L’Aquila in Italy played host to the participants of the project TEMPUS EACEA N° 32/2010 „Environment protection through development and application of sustainable Agriculture Technologies – EPASAT”.
The consortium, which has prepared and will be conducting the project, consists of 20 partners from Europe – Estonia, Poland, Portugal and Italy and from Central Asia – Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Polish partner in the project is the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław. Professor Józef Sowiński from the Faculty of Life Sciences and Technology and Tomasz Haglauer from the Office of International Programs attended the meeting organized by the Italian University.
The beneficiary of the project is the University from L’Aquila, and its coordinator is Professor Anna Tozzi – Pro-rector Delegate for the International Relations, who is indefatigable in raising funds from Tempus program. The project will be realized during three years and it concerns the first grade studies on the concepts of agroecology, agricultural technology and engineering, realized on the basis of European Quality Standards on the partnership universities in the Central Asia. The University of L’Aquila and Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences will be responsible for the internal system of appraising the quality of the project realization.
