We’re continuing to help - the donation collection for Ukraine will last from April 11th to the 15th. This is another one of many actions organized by UPWr. So far we have managed to collect first aid items which were sent to the frontline and money, and food for refugees, who found shelter at our university. This time we are collecting items that will go directly to Ukraine again.

Wise help is targeted help - that's what our aid initiative is all about. The transport of goods is coordinated by Yuliia Stetsiura, a Ukrainian employee of the Department of Surgery, who was also responsible for the previous donation collection. We are sure that the collected goods will go directly to those in need.

List of needed items:

• combat boots in sizes 42-45 (very high demand),
• clothing – hats, baseball caps, insulated gloves and tactical gloves, socks and thermal underwear,
• personal hygiene items – toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap, shampoo, wet wipes,
• food – canned and tinned goods, coffee, bagged tea.

Collection locations: 

• room 5.04 on the 4th floor of Geo-Info-Hydro (53 Grunwaldzka Street) 
• Public Relations Department (building A5, Norwida Street 25)

Collection date: April 11th to April 15th from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (on Friday, April 15th, the collection will last until 1:00 p.m.).
