International Conference "Research and Practice in Forest Ecology"
The event is organized by the Institute of Dendrology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Kórnik, on May 8-12, 2024.
The conference will aim to discuss the results of research in the field of forest ecology, including changes in forest ecosystems at the local, regional, and global levels, as well as to outline directions and perspectives for new research, including interdisciplinary studies.
We invite submissions for presentations on broad aspects of forest ecology, such as:
- The biology of trees and organisms associated with them,
- Forest genetics,
- Tree breeding, physiology, and biotechnology,
- Seed biology and technology,
- Invasive organisms,
- Forest dynamics,
- The impact of climate change on forest ecosystems,
- Forestry and forest management.
The conference is aimed at young researchers, defined as students, doctoral candidates, and individuals who have obtained their PhD no more than 7 years ago (inclusive).

To participate, it is necessary to fill out the registration form and send an abstract to ecoforest2024@man.poznan.pl by March 10, 2024.
