May 9, EU GREEN Day 2024, is a unique opportunity to celebrate our first steps as an alliance. We have worked together over the last eighteen months to introduce innovations and develop fruitful cooperation in many areas. One year, which already seems like an entire era of joint efforts in striving to transform European higher education.

This day reminds us of our common goal and how we can change our universities, creating one large intercampus together. We would like to thank all our students, faculty, administrative staff, and local communities for their contributions to this remarkable journey.

As part of the celebration, we have prepared two inspiring lectures for you:

• May 9, from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM, "Women in Ornithology – Yesterday and Today," presented by Prof. Clara Contreras (English Department, Research in Environmental Humanities, UEx, Spain).
• May 9, from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM, "Invasive Alien Species – Working Together on Understanding and Communication," presented by Prof. Frances Lucy (Research on Ecology and Invasive Species, ATU, Ireland).

Both lectures will be conducted in English.
