Collecting vegetable seeds for Ukraine
We are starting a short, but extremely necessary (and the most natural possible) donation collection for Ukraine: we’re collecting vegetable seeds to cultivate in gardens.
The seeds will go to the elderly who have decided to stay in their homes despite the ongoing war.
Vegetation of plants in Ukraine is delayed, so vegetables will still have time to grow and may be the main source of food for these people in the coming months.
The seeds can be left in containers at the reception points, where food for refugees under the care of UPWr, is still collected, as well as in room 4.18 of the Department of Landscape Architecture (3rd floor, Geo-Info-Hydro building).
You can bring the seeds until May 19, 2022, after which, on the next day, they will be sent to Ukraine.
