New authorities at Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences
On September 1st, Professor Krzysztof Kubiak assumed the position of Rector at the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences. Elected for the 2024-2028 term, the Rector presented nominations to the Vice-Rectors and Deans on September 2nd.
Rector Kubiak appointed Professor Anna Czubaszek, Professor Szymon Szewrański, and Professor Andrzej Zachwieja as Vice-Rectors. For the 2024-2028 term, Professor Czubaszek will be the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education, Professor Szewrański for Social and Economic Relations, and Professor Zachwieja for Science. The Vice-Rector for Human Resources and University Development will be appointed at a later date.
During the ceremony, the Deans also received their nominations. Professor Stanisław Dzimira will continue to lead the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Professor Beata Raszka the Faculty of Spatial Management and Landscape Architecture, Professor Bogdan Stępień the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology, and Professor Barbara Żarowska the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences. The new Deans include Professor Magdalena Zatoń-Dobrowolska, who will head the Faculty of Biology and Animal Science, and Professor Mirosław Wiatkowski, who will lead the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Geodesy.
